Welcome to Miami! Like all societies there are rules to be followed. Obey these and everything will go just peachy.

1. Respect everyone on the site including your fellow members and staff. This means that we don’t want to see any OOC fighting in the c-box or hear about it through the grape vine. Try to be civil and deal with your problems privately or ask staff for their help if they have broken a site rule. This also means that we do not want racist, sexist, and other forms of prejudices between roleplayers. A character might be a bigot but keep such remarks to yourself if it doesn’t belong in a thread.
2. Each account must be in your characters name (ex. jane doe) and not some funky ‘pokemonlover’ thing. As cute as something like that may be make sure your display name is relevant to the character’s identity.
3. You may have as many characters as you would like however they must be active, although we do recommend no more than four characters. To be active you must be posting with them.
4. ACTIVY! It is key to keep the site running. So if you plan on being away for an extended period time let the staff know or post in the away board, a sub-board of OOC. This will also ensure that if we have an activity check while you are gone your account won’t be deleted.
5. No advertising anywhere but the advertisement board and that includes no posting links in the c-box.
6. This site is rated R meaning that sex, drugs, alcohol, foul language and violence may happen. However if your thread seems to be going into that explicit region for the sake of the other RPers put an ‘R’ or ‘M’ in the title.
7. All accounts must be activated.

1. You must complete the application and a staff member must accept your character before you can post anywhere other than the OOC board. Usually a staff member will review applications within 24 hours of completion.
2. After you have been accepted claim your play by.
3. Play bys must be celebrities (actors, actress, musicians, etc). We are not accepting MySpace personalities, cartoons, anime, and so forth. This is a real life RP so there is no magical powers, mythical creatures, or anything that sounds Harry Potter-esque.
4. No perfect characters. When making your character avoid Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus like the plague. Everyone has there flaws and no one has everything they could ever want and more. Please be realistic.
5. For each character you need to have a 100x100 avatar and a signature that will not stretch the board for aesthetic purposes and also to give your fellow RPer a representation of the character. If you need help you may request graphics in the ‘Creative Board’.
6. It is strongly recommended that you create a plot page for your character to help create relationships with other characters as well as to plot and register for a home. Cell phones, mail boxes, AIM, blogs, and MySpace are all elective so you can pick, choose, and refuse.

1. No god-modding or powerplaying! This means that you cannot control another person’s character for them. A lame example would be killing their character off without their consent. It ruffles feathers and just isn’t fair to the other person.
2. Your posts must be 200 words in order to post in the board. We have a handy-dandy code that will not allow you to press the reply button unless you hit that minimum. Still, the more you give the more your fellow RPer has to work with. If you are RPing with someone who is giving 600 words try to give them the same.
3. This is a literate site so please use proper grammar and spelling when posting. Spell Check is a wonderful thing so take advantage of it. In the read the rule section of the application please put tallahassee, you will not be accepted without it. This rule also means that you are not to use netspeak (ex. brb, bc, and so forth) in a post unless it’s in the AIM board.
