if i could dream at all, about anything, it would be of the innocence i wish i had
dream in black and white, the lust that overwhelms you
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I live in a town where innocence is dead. This town's name is Pluie Calir de lune, and it is located within the country of France, well known for it's capital of all things relating to love and romance, Paris. However, our town, has never been spoken of due to the shame it brings upon France as a country.
Our story is best told in four tales. The first of these tales is sin, the second is crime, the third is indulgence, and our final tale is corruption.
Sin
Once upon a time, upon Pluie Claire de lune first being established, there was purity in both it's citizens, and the air they breathed. Citizens strived for perfection, attending church each Sunday, children playing in fields and meadows, by babbling brooks and streams, both male and female alike. They were simple, their innocent laughter rising through the air filling it with sweet music. Pluie Clair de lune was the first large city in the history of the world where every one who lived there, knew every one else. Alas, perfection is just a myth, and purity, along with innocence, faded with outsiders moving into their fair city. These outsiders brought with them lust, greed, wrath, envy, pride, gluttony and sloth, each sin more more disgusting and dispicable than the next. The once beautiful city, although it's landscaping remained breath taking, transformed into a filthy suburban area in which it's citizes were no longer proud to live in.
Crime
Among sin, crime lurked in the shadows, citizens from the United States of America, other areas of France, Germany, Ireland, and many other countries who had rudely shoved themselves into the city's fair walls began to run amock, giving the city's municipal building something to fear. Crimes began to seep up from the dirt beneath their feet, and a justice system, something they'd never quite had to worry about before, was immediately forced into effect. Police officers were hired through a process of being tested and trained for the new found dangers that lurked around every corner, and a jail house was built. Punishments and laws were discussed by a group of elderly men who'd helped build these city's four walls from the ground up. A government was formed, and the city, for a small while, was at as much peace as it's fair citizens would have guessed it to be ever again.
Indulgence
With the city at rest for a while, it's citizens received the chance to rest easily at night, however, those who'd not been relatives of those who'd first walked the city's streets were still in their mist, and it hadn't looked as if they were ready to leave any time within the city's near future. While some citizens remained stubborn, sticking their noses up toward these new residents, others began to open up, befriending their city's newest members. Some became friends, and others, were dragged into the feeling the rest of the world had already discovered, lust. They became indulged with sex, only leading to indulgence in other things such as gambling, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, and parties, all means of social gatherings in which they had never been formerly introduced with. Sin once again rose, and the crime rate went through the roof, leaving France ashamed to have such a filthy town with such breath taking scenery in it's country as a whole. Pluie Claire de lune was no longer spoken of, and much like it's deceiving landscaping, lust became an overpowering emotion cleverly disguised as love. All innocence was quickly fading.
Corruption
With years passing, all of the elders of Pluie Claire de lune soon passed away, a new government emerging, new police officers were hired, old buildings were refurbished, built to adapt to the current century's technology, and new building were springing up such as casino's, strip clubs, bars, and so much more. Citizens were corrupted. Bribery, dishonesty, and disloyalty were sprung from the ground like wild flowers. People became wicked in their ways, and all innocence and purity within Pluie Claire de lune had vanished.
Welcome to Pluie Claire de lune, France.
