Matthew Hopkins High is a very respected boarding school, catering to students grades 9-12, and is located on the lush terrain of Salem, Massachusetts. The students attending the school are the very brightest - the cream of the crop. They are the prodigies, the artists, or, simply, the kids whose parents had a lot of money and power, and pulled some strings for them to attend the school. As in any other high school, there is drama, love, sex, and drugs. There's also the cliques - the jocks, the queen-bees, the artists, and the outcasts.
But this school is different from any other.
Rumored to be built atop of an old witch burial ground dating back to the 16th century, the school is said to be haunted by the restless spirits of those that lay beneath its hallowed halls. Odd happenings plague the school each year - from the occasional ghost spotting, to the unexplained noises, or power surges. What's even more ironic? The school is named after one of the most famous witch hunters.
